The last option comes from the Kentucky Horse Park, a Commonwealth of Kentucky State Park, located just north of Lexington on I-75. The Horse Park opened in 1978 following the grant of the land to the Commonwealth of Kentucky. It’s the only park dedicated to the horse’s relationship with man. You can visit the museum, go horse back riding (and pony rides for the kids), camp, tour other horse farms or if you’re heading up this weekend take in the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event!
